It is not very easy to find someone. But trying to locate an old friend is really different from trying to find a missing individual. So what you should do or how you could go about searching this individual, depends very much on the nature of the search.

Here I will be discussing how you can find the person we want to find. However, if after you have gone through this article, you still need more info, please visit the how to find a person site by clicking on the following link: find people

It is exciting to try to look for someone you once knew, and when you have finally found him or her, it is fun to meet up with this friend or old classmate, since you might not have seen him or her in quite a while. This type of search does not require urgent actions, unlike the missing people one. But if you are looking for a lost person, it is most likely not at all fun, and you might be feeling down right now at this moment.

So I will begin with giving tips and advice on finding a lost person:

The most obvious is to call the police as a first step. Then contact and talk to all of the friends who were with the person who is missing when the person disappeared. Visit their homes too if you feel if could help. Talk to all neighbors in the neighborhood and make them aware of the fact that this person is lost and that you need all the help you can get in finding her or him. Talk about this lost person with each and everyone you meet. Put an ad in all the newspapers around you with a picture of the missing person. It could also be helpful to put an ad on the internet. And something that could be of great help to you would be to contact a private detective. Online searches or the use of online search engines will not really help in this case, especially if the matter is urgent. If not very urgent (if it is a distant relative that “disappeared” many years ago), why not try the people.yahoo.com search? This should be a quite reliable search engine. Also search for any public records available on this person. Also why not check some newspaper articles related to the disappearance of the person.

Here is advice on how to find an old friend:

Try to search for the person’s name on Google and Yahoo. Then try to find the person on an online social network like Myspace, facebook, Bebo or Taringa. Avoid paying for search results, if you use a people search engine. You will most probably be dissatisfied, because the search results for sale online are most of the time not correct. Instead you should try to do your own people search by asking other people who also knew this friend, for contact information. Do they know where she or he is now, do they have his or her number? Or do they have this persons address? Be sure to check your own old email accounts and the one you are using now for any contacts that might know this person. But if it is very difficult to find this person you can after doing all of this contact an investigator. But this is only if you are serious about finding this person. You can find a listing of private investigators on this page by clicking here private detective

I wish you the best of luck with your search.
